This week, I’m prepared to convince you that if you don’t have a signature graphic tee in your wardrobe on rotation, it’s time! Not to be dramatic, but this simple article of clothing is not only on the board of fashion as a co-founder, but it also single-handedly adds a dozen new looks to your existing closet. Still not convinced? Pick up your rose-colored glasses, go to your closet, and apply these three rules.
1. Refresh. Take your 9-to-5 classic pantsuit and switch out the button-up for a vintage graphic tee. While you’re at it, swap the pumps for sneakers and you’re perfectly dressed for weekend brunch.
2. Reimagine. Next time you have a night out, try a fitted graphic tee with a pencil skirt. This subtle, sexy play with casual and glam is easy to accessorize, and did I mention that it’s way more comfortable than a plunging neckline?
3. Repurpose. An off-the-shoulder tee can travel from day errands to night cocktails with ease. Just switch out your jeans and sneakers for wide-leg trousers and wedges. The key is to not overthink it!
Depending on your, ahem, endowment ?, you must consider the font or graphic size. Smaller fonts minimize, while large prints draw the eye.
