There’s no Valentine’s Day without dessert….

I hope you are sharing your love for your special someone(s) all year round, but, since we do have a dedicated national holiday to assist in the swoonfest, I conform to the festivities and start prepping my outfit ideas for the dinner plans, with hopes of the box of chocolates paired with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. This year, I took my time and stayed away from black, deciding on this red Bardot (under $100) cocktail dress that both conceals and reveals with a fashion-forward high neck, chic flowy bell sleeves, and of course, a dash of my signature off-the-shoulder action.

Red against deeper skin tones will always be a success, so a showstopping entrance is guaranteed! I feel confident that your date will be looking across that table with their mind on “dessert” the entire time.

Red is the color of fun and passion! Don’t allow your fears of color stop you from being the main attraction. On a night that is meant for love, inject a pop of color to a sea of black with intention to get the reaction you deserve.
